Grease liquifying
I bought some high-quality grease about a year ago (I *think* it's Valvoline, red, approved for wheel bearings). I've finished the suspension lubed all the fittings a couple of months ago. But I am noticing that some of the grease has liquified and there are drips under most of the fittings. I see this where I store the grease gun as well. Do I have a problem, and is there anything I need to do?

I believe it is just the oil component leaching out of the grease over time. Really nothing to be concerned about.

I've been using Mobile 1 grease for a number of years and have this problem with leaking ball and tie rod joints. I recently read that Mobile 1 (synthetic) is particularly bad about breaking down and separating. I thought it may be a problem of synthetic greases - although it appears that Valvoline Red is a petroleum based grease. I'm switching to something else and I think that is about all you can do.
