For a Cobra-related belly laugh...

Go to post #19 (nicely written by one of the CACC guys - Tim) in this thread: http://www.capitalareacobraclub.com/...5761#msg115761

Been there, done that. More than once. With my wonderful co-pilot Kay, no less...

Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing that great story. Well worth the read!

My Copilot and I filled the footwells on our first trip to the London Cobra Show. 4 thunderstorms in 3 hours. We laugh about it now because there's nothing else we can say. Misery + Time = Humor.

Been there, love the story though, regards Sam

Yep, I can identify with that.

PS. I ended up making up a couple of small scuppers for the footwells.

No Noah rain yet but am prepared with several holes in foot boxes. So farvit has been wet knees with thecrest over the head. It is ALL about the experiences we have in these cars and the people we meet.

Great story. I thought of a grommet that will allow the water to run out, but dust etc not to get in. Using the drain pipe from a car aircon drain. or what they used in the boot of a 75 Volvo to drain the water in the spare wheel well. Interesting thought on using ali checker plate on the floor. How would that look? Also packing a wet suit, might come handy.

Sure can relate to that one except for the two 50's something women in a Jag. My reason for drilling the two 1/4" holes in each cockpit half behind and under the seats and coating the bare floors with truckbed liner coating. Also try to keep an eye on the weather and always have the soft top and even the tonneau with the car at most times.
Thanks for the story Tom,

Great Story!
I had one similar with my 3 month pregnant wife along with me on the ride. I still try not to bring it up with her in ear shot!
Misery + Time + wife = Don't go there!

Been there, done that, a simple large phillips head screw driver works for drainage in a pinch :D

Bailing water out of the footwells in a Days Inn parking lot with a McDonald's cup is something I've done more than once...

A day's worth of driving in the sun dries everything right out!
