Which Hydraulic Clutch Setup?
1 Attachment(s)
Getting my setup planned, and I am looking for some input as to what Hydraulic setup to go with. I will be using a Dart block 302 based engine with a TKO 600 RR transmission (26 Spline). The bell housing is the Ford Racing aluminum factory style.
I see a couple of options: 1) - McLeod 13645 Hydraulic Throw Out Bearing style 2) - McLeod 14326 Hydraulic slave cylinder style that works with the stock clutch fork No picture of the 13645 as the website doesn't like the photo for some reason? |
Forte's has a good system for your setup.
Call Mike, he'll hook you up. (508) 875-0016 Forte's Parts Connection - TREMEC, FACTORY FIVE COBRA PARTS, FORD RACING PARTS, FFR, MUSTANG, TRANSMISSIONS, T-56, T-5, TKO, TR-3550 |
I was going to suggest Forte's as well.

I would steer clear of hydraulic throw out bearings.
As far as the other kit goes, you will need to figure out if you need something to work with an existing Mustang clutch pedal/quadrant/fork. That's what the other McLeod piece is designed to work with. I have a complete setup that includes a powdercoated mounting bracket, slave cylinder, pushrod, etc., that works with a factory bellhousing and a TKO. $199. They are simple to set up and they work great. You would need a master cylinder to actuate it. |
browse the coleman racing or lefthander chassis catalog, they have options.
