What are the best Cobra/Auto Meets for this summer?

I was going over my personal/business calender for the next 18 months and basically the longer vacation breaks are designed around my 10+ twin daughters. This year they want to spend part of the summer visiting some national parks again. Trying to squeeze three things into a 7-8 week period.

Since they are in private school their summer starts mid-May so if anyone knows of any really good Cobra/Auto meets going on from the end of May to mid-aug please post. Probably not going to the august car shows in Cali in August.

Trying to combine the National Parks with a segment with a few friends with classic muscle cars and see what kind of trouble we can get into. On top of that I recently aquired my type rating for our Albatross. So if I can figure that into the trip I'm all set.

Hey Gruff you ever fly one?

Once again thanks for your time and any ideas you might want to share.

I am not much for sitting at car shows. I like to drive. Events that I plan to attend are the Targa California April 24 to 26th. There is an ITN rally planned for sometime in May.

You may be able to work this into your schedule.

SAAC-39 will be held May 15-17, 2014, at Road America, Elkhart Lake WI.

Two events come to mind:
The Mid-America Shelby meet in Tulsa (Fathers Day Week) Mid America Ford Meet

London Cobra Show in Columbus Ohio the following weekend London Cobra Show - The Ohio Cobra Club

Both events combine car show and the opportunity to drive your Cobra at speed on a true road course. I highly recommend either of these events or both.

X2 for the London Cobra Show. Kind of like Sturgis for motorcycles. Just to say you've been there.
You might try Cruise Colorado for a bit shorter haul to an event. Leaves out of the Denver area June 15th thru 20th this year. Spectacular drive and a really great group of people usually 1K to 1200 miles. I've been hauling over from Oregon for the past 6 or so. Check their web site at:
Mile Hi Cobra Club : Welcome
2014 info not on the web site yet but keep an eye on it.
