Mother's Billet Polish or something comparable.

If they're ceramic coated silver try four O steel wool with aluminum polish. That's worked on mine for the past 9 years. The 4 O wool is softer than the aluminum matrix they use in the ceramic so it doesn't hurt them.

In order to make something shiny, it has to be smooth. Try careful wet sanding with some 2,000-4,000 emory paper. Then use some Mother's polishing compound with a power ball. You'll get a nice shine that will last.
Be very careful with the abrasives. The ceramic coating is not that thick to begin with. And the thinner it is the less effective it is. Be sure to use a sanding block. Don't spin the power ball too fast. It will quickly burn right through the coating. Practice on the bottom of the pipe, near the tip. If you burn through there, it won't matter that much. Don't bother using any kind of wax or polish like you would on a painted surface - they can't handle the heat. |
