car shipping

Does anyone have a recomendation for a car shipper?

I work for Sunday Auto Transport. Looks up on the web. Whoever you choose go enclosed, check out their insurance, and deal directly with the company instead of a broker who will, in most cases farm it out to Joe's Pizza and Car Hauling!

Incognito express out of Texas. Exceptional service and price. Enclosed transport. Used them in November. If I recommend them you can take it to the bank!!!!

Sunday is a good choice, Passport and Reliable are also good auto transport companies that do not have a broker as a middle man.

+2 on Sunday. A Superformance owner who understands our cars!

I had a pretty poor experience with Interstate.

Sunday is good and so are a couple of others. I would talk to them and see what their schedules are for wherever you want to have the car hauled and as the rest said, make sure it is an enclosed trailer and no broker type deal.

Ron :)

Maybe Reliable Carriers?

Car shipper

Used Passport in Oct and thought that their price was fair, service great, and I REALLY liked that I could track the car via GPS all the way from the pickup to my door. Although it did make me wonder a few times when it was going the wrong way, lol. Just a side trip I know.

I attempted to use exotic after they jerked me around for two weeks i fired them. I called incognito they picked up the car 2 days later and was $300 cheaper than exotic delivered the car with zero issues. Do not pay a penny until the car is delivered, if they want money up front use somebody else, once you pay them they are in control.

I used Sunday Transport to bring my ERA Cobra from Connecticut to Mayland, at the time. I was very pleased with the delivery, on time as promised and safe and secure.
I would recommend them.

Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS), DO NOT use MAGIC CARPET, they are NOT recommended, they were paid to ship my car from California to NY and they did eveything wrong, from not placing the car on the top tier to leaving the ignition switch open and killing the battery, to overcharging me the day of delivery an additional $300.00 for having to use the winches in the truck to move my car due to a dead battery that they kill. It was a nightmare dealing with their customer service person a real nasty B...h!! Luckily I had paid with my Amex and got my $$ back for breach of contract.
I shipped my Volvo to Colorado via DAS and they were perfect.
Hope this helps, good luck!!

How far are you wanting to ship?

marco246 01-28-2014 02:28 PM

Check out Intercity. Shipped my Cobra from Phoenix to Long Beach with them. Good price and no drama.

WildBill1965 01-29-2014 03:41 PM

Ditto on Intercity, shipped my GT 500 SS to Vegas! No hassle no problems and door to door!

I'm still fighting with exotic over damage on a car shipped Oct. 2013

I have used DAS a couple times. The relocation company we use is contracted with them. I'm sure it's because they are cheap....I can not recommend them. On my car they let the air out of my tires so it would fit in the bottom level, and had 2 broken wipers and change missing from the ashtray.

My wife's car was lost for almost 10 days (took 10 days longer to ship than mine) and had 100 more miles on it than when it left.

I've used passport, horseless carriage and enclosedvehicletransport with good results. But the best experience I've has so far has been with Intercity
