Silver ceramic coater around Houston?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a shop that silver eramic coats side pipes and headers. I know of Wolfy's in Dickinson but they have been having furnace issues going 2 months and I want them done. If anyone knows of somebody within 100 miles of Houston I would appreciate the contact.

Thanks
MM

I highly recommend Jet-Hot.

I have had good results with Jet Hot in the past. Poly-Dyn is who currently does our pipes. Coated headers and exhaust

Thanks!! I will gibe poly-dyn a call. for some reason i thought they stopped the silver but will contact them. i had forgotten about them. Jet Hot would be great but the last time i shipped side pipes were $150 each way not including the headers. That would be great if poly dyn could do them.

i should get the manifold coated as the ceramic would be much easier to keep clean.

If you ever need a chromer Pasadena Bumper is reasonable, they also polish aluminum. prices are pretty good and turnaround time is usually a couple weeks.

They can do silver if you ask nicely. We have a gentleman at 45 and Little York that does our chrome. Not the cheapest, but stellar work. Turnaround is usually 3-10 days. I usually have our manifolds powder coated and cleared in a grey color. It hides flaws and staining. I tried ceramic, but it just doesn't look right.

He said he could do the headers no problem, the side pipes he said were usally to long for his furnace? I am going to remove them and run both down to him. If he can somehow do the sidepipes fantastic. My headers are what really need it. The valve cover leaked and oil bubbled on them and lifted the coating. The side pipes will probably polish up good enough.

I love the polished aluminium look but as you know it can be a job to keep it polished.

I'll post all my prices when i get them. He does great at chroming the polishing pretty darn good, sometime's I wil just have to touch up a small area most would not see.

I used Wolfe, but there was a place off Jones north of 1960. Maybe on Neshaw or Jones road west. I think they were Dyna something. They rubbed me wrong with issues and excuses about the polishing pellets getting inside the muffler.

Oops. I only saw the first post. Yes Polydyne was who I was thinking of. I think my pipes were too big too.

That is why they have reservations about silver pipes. The pellets always blow out within the first few minutes. I have never had any stay trapped in the pipes. A note of caution, they come out at a rather high velocity. Best to fire it up outdoors.

why wouldn't they stick a rolled up towel in the outlet and wash clothes in the intake of the side pipes and polish. nothing could get in the pipe with that $2.00 set up. To be honest i am expecting a $17.00 shop supply anyways so they should be able to supply some used fabric to prevent stuff getting where it shouldn't. as you can see i piss most people off in the first paragraph, lol.

wonder why i am always so pissed off. i lost 20K tonight in apple they only sold 57million iPhones in the last quarter. lets see, maybe i can screw my polishing guy out of $100. penny wise and dollar fool, ouch. don't worry apple is the number one stock among broker houses to perform in 2014. guess i am not the only idiot out there. Apple also had a profit marging of 37%, pos kindle fire sell at break even for amazon. yet amazon flies and apple craters.

i need a drink!!!
