I just finished reading Morton's book. It was pretty interesting. It gives a little insight into how things really were during that period. Carroll Shelby is portrayed in much the same light as he usually is. I would recommend the book to those with an interest in racing cars and drivers of that era and to anyone wanting a closer look into Shelby American.

I think that book is on my pile of books out in Cali. I like what he stated about the racing 427's that everything went into the GT program at that time.
