My 1991 EM does not have one and I am tring to figure out how to install one on the round tube. is there anything out there on other EM's

Here is the best photo I could find from when I had my car apart. This is looking from the back left corner toward the front. The hoop is a tall oval shaped metal piece supported by tabs welded to the main frame tubes. It appears the hoop is bolted to the tabs, but I can't remember for sure.

I don't have any tabs, same rear end. The bolts and plates for the lapbelts might be able to be used to attach a flat strap for the loop mount. that is the only thing I see short of welding.

Here are 3 shots of my loop assembly. The loop is not installed but you can see what EM did for the attachment of the loop assembly to the 4" round tube.http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...=11510&thumb=1 http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...=11511&thumb=1
