The coming season - R&P front end

I posted a steering issue a long time ago and wanted to get opinions.

The vehicle is 10 years old, flaming river steering and IDIDIT steering column.

At higher temps, 85 and up, the steering sticks. Makes the car near impossible to drive.

So I took the car to IDIDIT and they acknowledged the end seal/bearing had a old problem of being too tight. They replaced the seal and bearing. On the trip back home, the problem still existed.

So, I am looking at changes to the rack itself and a heat shield down the column before London.

If anyone has additional suggestions or experience - please share.

Have you checked that the upper and lower ball joints are OK?
