Auction: CSX2023
Auction: CSX2023
From Hemmings.com: “ When CSX2023, one of the first couple dozen Shelby Cobras, sold at auction for half a million dollars last year, many Cobra purists noted the slew of modifications it sported and wondered whether they hurt or helped the car’s value. Their questions may soon be answered when the same Cobra, now re-restored back to its approximate original configuration, crosses the auction block next month. " What a difference a year makes: Re-restored Shelby Cobra to cross the block | Hemmings Daily |
I would have left it red racy form, now it has the hand of the restoration on it ....

You know someone is going to buy it and give it the race treatment.

I must be getting old, I think it looks lovely slabbed in silver with wires. That red could have been kept for an interior color, that goes great with the silver.
|
I'm worse than you! I think it should be in silver trim but with 5.5" wire wheels and not the 6" it currently has.
