Two different cars. Very different. GT500 more of a muscle car boulevard cruiser. Massive power. Sledge hammer. Think "Hell Boy".
Boss 302. Very athletic and responsive. A track weapon. Think "The Flame".

There was an interesting piece on Jay Leno's Garage where he drove a Boss 302 and a GT 500. He concluded the same as above. The GT 500 is more of a strait line (boulevard) car, whereas, the Boss was a track kind of car and more fun to drive. Having had both cars, I traded a GT 500 on my Boss, I agree.

The Boss is a great car. Yes, it by far and way is a better corner carver and track car. The GT500 is a great muscle car though. Again too different tools for two different jobs.
