Anyone have one of these: Atlas SLP7K scissor lift

I was about to put a BendPak SP 7X scissor lift in my new shop and then ran across an ad for this Atlas lift, Atlas SLP7K from Greg Smith Equipment. The Atlas is about a grand cheaper and functionally the same for my purposes, so that got my attention. It won't see much use, just normal home shop use, nothing like a commercial garage. And safety is important. I have the wells already in place to make the BendPak flush mounted and this one is slightly smaller, so that would work. I can pick one of these up not to far away at a Greg Smith place on my flatbed, so that would be easy enough.

Anyone have any experience with this particular lift?

Thanks,

I know and it hurts. But I can't get one that disappears into the floor, doesn't need moving around, and has no posts for anything less, at least that I have found so far.

If you can get by with a mid-rise lift (e.g. 48" lift height) there are many portable models available around $2,000 (+/-). I've even seen some advertised around $1,500 - but do you really want to trust your life with the cheapest lift off eBay?
