Original Cobra and Owner?
Was checking out Jesse's site and came across this. He also posted many pics from the Fabulous Ford show at Knots Berry farm.
Just a car guy : Hank, one of the last original owners, and racers, of Shelby Cobras. There may be less than a handful of others, but only Hank comes to car shows. |

I've seen the car a few times now and it's really cool! Very original. He's a really nice guy too and always willing to talk about the car and Cobra's in general.

I had the good fortune to meet Hank at Sonoma SAAC. I was grilling a steak by my truck when he came up the hill to load his car in his trailer. I offered to help but he said he had done it so many times it would only take five minutes. We talked for a while and he told me the story behind his car. A true gentleman. Tom

Hank is a great guy, loves talking Cobra and also is very tolerant of those looking to learn more.
I judged his car at SAAC38 and he and my son were a hit. |

Parked close to him at several car shows, always willing to talk cobras. Brings lots of old pictures and magazines articles to look at which is cool.

I have also had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Hank Williams. As mentioned above, a true gentleman and the real deal Cobra owner & enthusiast. Here are a few photos of his Cobra at the SACC event in Sonoma a few years ago … it's a beauty.

Those are great pictures of the Cobra and though I have never had the chance to meet Hank Williams, I have seen many pictures and read many stories about him. That is a really nice original cobra and there just aren't that many one owner ones left. Thanks for posting the pictures. Ron ;) |

You are welcome. It was towards the end of the day and Hank was packing up is car to go home, but he stopped and took the time to talk with me and show his Cobra for probably the 100th time that day. It's owners like Hank that have such great cars & stories, who enjoy sharing them with those that are interested, that make this such a great hobby. |
Great pics! Love the dash pics especially! We just finished reproducing two of those windscreen sprayer buttons.
