"The Beast" vs Cobra

:cool:Hey I was reading this piece and is this a modern day Cobra?

Not in looks but the wording "back to basics" and "raw feel" bring Cobra to mind.

Also mentioned 3d printing to cut costs.

Back to Basics and Raw is exactly what a Cobra should be in my mind. The wife and I have talked about the lastest brace of Muscle cars being offered by the big three and that is the very thing they all lack.
Whenever the urge to try out one of the new muscle car hits a fire up and short run around the block wipes that feeling away.

The "Beast" looks uber cool and undoubtedly runs like a scalded cat, but its not going to give the viceral heart thumping rush a barking V8 provides.

As the beast "has yet" to be produced I'll say the jury is still out on that one.
For now the modern day cobra in my mind is the iconic AC roadster.

Yeah not sure how that Iconic is going. I started a thread last year not sure if they are in business or what.
