Is it ok to remove bugs with a quick detail product
So my car has bugs and stuff on it after a drive. I don't want to put the cover on with this crud on their. Can I use Meguires quick detail spray to remove the bugs?

buddyg... I have found that warm soapy waters and a soft sponge works well. The sooner the better as bugs seem to ferment into an acid like substance. Lots of moisture and no scratching on removal. Enjoy

Yes. Water with the cloth works as well. Really, whatever you have handy.

Yes you can but bug and tar remover is best for stubborn stuff. Turtle Wax makes one. On with soft damp sponge, off with microfiber. The sooner the better as said above.

Buddy
I use a product from Seafoam called "Bugs B Gone" it works fantastic and it doesn't harm paint. I get it from my local Napa store (Canada) it should be sold at Napa in the USA also.

I've been trying Mother's bug remover on our daily drivers lately and it makes removing bugs easiy But, it's primarily to remove dried, hardened bug carcuses that have been on there a few days. On fresh bug mess some detailer spray and wet towels is more appropriate.
