It's too late for Buddy's poll, but if Evan does run another, then the next poll should be written as follows:
a) BBF
b) SBF
c) SBC
d) BBC
e) Australian (because, other than Australia, where can you got out for your morning run and spot an NOS dual quad FE intake in the bushes?)

Do NOS dual quad FE intakes fit BBC's?

The question should be
Big block in a 427 body or small block in a 427 body?
or
Big block in a 427 body or small block in a slab or FIA body

I agree, but can the 289 body have a 351W SB or must it be a 289/302/332? ;-)
Else it might have a 427W....
If that is the case then I like to have a 332 FE in my 427 body... :-))

One year I actually counted the engine types at the London Cobra show. Nearly 3/4 were small blocks (lumping modular in as a small block) - to the best of my memory. It varies, but small blocks are never less than 2/3. Typically upwards of 200 Cobra's are there.
All this proves is the SB guys are more willing or more are able to go to London than the BB guys. It dos not necessarily prove there are more SB cars.
It has been my observation that the BB cars are pretty scarce at the autocross.
I think a more interesting two question pole would be:
If you have a 427 Cobra body with a SB in it, would you rather have a BB?
or
If you have a 427 Cobra body with a BB in it, would you rather have a SB?

Or, worded another way, "if you wanted a BB in your 427 body, but you ended up settling for a SB."

That would be a good pole imo.

I have a V6 in my Dodge Grand Caravan. Why is there no category for that?

I see why some choose to leave this site for others. A simple question was asked and all the poor guy got was more questions than answers, arguing and one upsmanship all while using 5 pages. How about just answering the question and leaving out all the BS. As for me, a 351w stoked to 408 515hp

Thanks as I mentioned before I wasn't trying to find out anything more than what the breakdown was for forum members. So any of you guys interested in something else start your own poll and quit gumming up mine.

If that's all you wanted to know, I'll give you my anecdotal 2cents.
1 FE, for every 1 bbf (385 series), for ever 1 Chevy, for every 3 sbf.
No need to poll it.
Ps. I'm gunna hate myself in the morning if I've just given the usual suspects the opening to pile in on this thread.

We need to do a poll to see if any future polls should be allowed.
(sorry, I had to say it)

You wanted to do a damn poll after I closed your first one...because after three months you obviously knew better than I what would work here. Well, you got your damn poll and this is what happens every time somebody does a damn poll, so stop complaining.
...and the next person that starts a damn poll ought to think twice about it after all the damn time I had to spend reading PMs from folks ragging on each other and watching these threads this last week.

Ummm ok I don't think I ever said I knew anything better than you. Just was curious about what engines the members here had and only started the poll after you gave me the green light?
