Michael,

I don't have a wind wing to sell but if you have a glass company near by you might do what I did. I took one of mine down and had one made out of Lexan. It looks just like the glass ones but will not break like they do at times.

thanks, that might be the way to go, just never had any good luck drilling the holes then counter sinking.

I have four or five wind wings at my shop. Can you post a pic of the either wing. If I remember correctly I have several different types.

I had a few sets of made of lexan. It isn't like messing with plexiglass. You can drill it without a problem and they are close to indestructible. I had tinted ones made to match the wind wings. They charged me $40 for the set and they are 1/4" thick. You can hit them with a hammer and they won't break.

I was pleased with how easy the Lexan, I got on line, was to work with. Used a band saw, a table saw, and a router to crank out wings and visors in tint to match my '03 Caddy Copper Sunburst paint. Just something else I did a little different from the thundering herd. Kinda nice to come up with something that is easy and doesn't require a second mortgage.

Which way is the hinge supposed to go. Bracket on the outside or inside the wing?
If I mount it on the outside, it interferes to easily if you swing it to close.
