Cobra movies I'd forgotten about.

Watched Spinout - an old Elvis movie (1966) (he races a Cobra) and although there where many mistakes and obviously faked scenes in it and it was incredibly corny must say I enjoyed it - also enjoyed the other car stars.

Very interesting side vents in the river crash scene.

There was a couple of 289 Cars used in 2 or 3 episodes of the TV series "The Fugitive" in the mid 60's. The series for the most part is on Youtube, but I have only found one episode so far and it used a 427 Car.

Don't forget Gumball Rally - best Cobra movie of all time I reckon. Cheers Gregg

"Running from the guns" Australian movie there are clips on YouTube features many scenes with what appears to be a 289 with a very ugly roll bar. Did they make replica 289's in the 80's so maybe it is real

Wasn't there a Cobra in "Romancing The Stone"? I seem to remember just a quick scene in the beginning of the movie. Maybe I'm just dreaming though.

That's before they were worth millions. They were clapped out race cars back then. Who knew.

Hysterical actually.

Didn't know the Monkee Mobile had the GTO grill badge until viewing this clip. Very neat

It is a hard to find DVD. "When the boys meet the girls" features a red 289 slab side cobra.
