Every post I make is moderated?
Hi forum admins,
Just to let you know each time I make a post it says the post is moderated. I don't plan on spamming the forums. Can a moderator update my permissions so I am a regular poster without moderation? or is this forum by moderation posts only? Thanks in advance. |
It's only in place to keep an eye on the subversive Canadians types.

3 posts in 3 1/2 years and you're worried about this?

Subversive Canadians?
As a subversive Canadian I understand.

That's because you are on the watch list. Have you noticed any dark window tinted cars following you around lately. |

Given the number of posts (or lack of them), any posting with pics or links may be moderated because that's what spammers do.
Be patient, and be more active. |
Thanks everyone. I signed up when I bought my Cobra few years back and haven't really needed to post much until lately. Looking to fix a few things here and there and hopefully do what I can to contribute as well.
Cheers |

That's the way the mods are around here -- they even moderated my first 10,000 posts before they finally gave up on me.

This is a very moderated site. Doesn't take much to get yourself in trouble. You guys wouldn't last for 30 seconds on my CTS-V forum, we like to mix it up.

You're pushing 15k posts on this forum that isn't even yours? crazy. I hope to learn a thing or two from you Patrick :) I also run vBulletin (older version) which is highly customized and there are options for permissions that you can setup whereby if a user has x amount of posts it lets them continue to post thereafter without moderation. To be honest, cobra club.com and ffcars.com don't have tight restrictions like this forum but that's because this forum is probably king of the cobra forums pushing more post & thread then the rest. I just noticed that my posts don't get moderated if I don't upload a picture or share a URL. That's fine for now. My plan is to learn more about this car and find out what others are doing or have done with their cobras without having to reinvent the wheel. So far, I'm interested in learning: - How others match the paint colour code without knowing the original colour of their cars for touch ups, etc - How to take proper HDR photos of my car (software, methods, etc) - How to install proper side vent louvers with a Johnex 427 Cobra body (louver is a inset bevel not a simple cut out like everyone else's) - How to find the best carpet material (or even what carpet is the best to replace my current carpet with) and how to lay it best so it looks tight - The proper location of the holes for the front bumpers (my body didn't have the four holes in the front) beside the break holes for the overriders I'm interested in the cosmetics of the beast and this forum is fantastic giving me something new to do every now and then ;) Cheers |
