Robin, thanks for filling in the requested information. I was away enjoying my daughter's wedding. But, to clarify, all of the data was not known when the last (2008) SAAC registry was printed, hence we did not want to come down fully on the car absent all the facts. It was nonetheless highlighted as having a new chassis and a new body, which is usually a good clue that there is some non-authenticity going on.
As for a new Cobra registry, it's still up in the air. SAAC isn't pushing for one, as they are finally taking a deep breath after publication of the '68-'70 Shelby book. I keep the database as current as possible, so it could be done at any time, but no one is pushing one right now. |
