Heat Shield Poll:
 
Guys, I'm going to a new US manufacturer for heat shields. These are going to be 180^ shields with 2 clamps included per side. I'll have polished stainless SOLID & SLOTTED styles. What I need to know from you is what length to offer? I am only going to carry one length for the Cobras so let's take a poll to see what length is most universal.

Your input is much appreciated!

I see on your site you now offer either 30in or 48in. I'm thinking for Cobras 30in would work best. I just purchased a set of 32's from you. Putting them on tomorrow, looking forward to hearing them. I may opt for heats sheilds too. Will be monitoring what you decide.

Doug, on an SPF with original sidepipes, the mufflers are 20.5" weld to weld.

Right - most "stock" Cobra kit mufflers are 20" body length. Question still stands - what one length would be acceptable to everybody with a Cobra? 24"? 26"???

The ones on my site right now are not available anymore...anything I had in stock is gone.

My preference would be 24" over the 26" alternative.

The muffler section on my ERA is also about 20.5 inches. I would prefer at least a 26 inch shield since it seems that the shield needs to extend a few inches toward the back beyond the muffler to really protect your legs.

A BDR Cobra is 26 inch in length on a 4 inch muffler
