Anyone that hasn't been there needs to check the place out. Awesome Cobra's and memorabilia! We also got lucky and The Fast Ford Weekend was at Bandimere Dragway! Mark

That's a fun place to visit. Even though it's small, I can spend a couple of hours in there.

Attended the 2006 Christmas party and this is the greatest collection of all things Shelby.

I suggest you go to both. :) |
My wife took me there for my birthday. We had a great time. All sorts of neat things tucked away in the corners.
|
Definitely on my road trip bucket list as soon as HM2008 is on the road.

I don't know about this place. I understand the highly reputable Richard ******** has labeled every car there 100% fake. And, from what we know about his normal and highly sane rants, he should know. Of course, we could always check with the FBI, for whom he is a special agent. Or, that's what he says. Is there any reason to doubt it? :JEKYLHYDE

It was some time ago I was at the Miller's place. Does the Boulder collection have enough to rotate some cars in and out for variety?
Hey I mentioned it before don't forget Clive's place. Cussler Museum My favorite author that writes about ex-USN exploits. Hey being an FBI agent makes you a Cobra expert? Artisit formerly know asOnyxRider |
The Cussler collection is on my bucket list...there's a reason I own a Doxa. wife got it for me after making direct contact with the mfg in Switzerland...not a brand carried in jewelry stores, and even the best dive shops that carry them have become rare.

The Shelby Collection in Boulder isn't really a museum, per say. A few guys who own Shelby's needed a place to store them. So they bought this room in an industrial section of town. One thing led to another, and they ended up with a "museum".
If you go there, don't mention that you have a replica, or - gasp! - a factory five. The guy we were talking to didn't like that at all. :) It's not a huge place, and they don't have a vast collection. So there really isn't a lot of rotation going on. The Miller family owns some of the cars, Like CSX 2002 (which is now in the Miller museum). I don't really know why they move them around. |
