Spider Crack?
1 Attachment(s)
Well Looks like I developed a star crack on the top of my pass fender. As some of you know the last 2 weeks I was in the process of repair/replacing my inner fender liners. The liner on the pass side was half off. I'm confused because where the crack happened the liner was stuck on that spot solid. I ended up relining the entire well anyway. My question is do you think the star crack will get bigger from here? Any way to stop it if so? Right now it's around 1" round. I assume the only way to repair it is to grind it down and repaint right?
Thanks. |
I don't believe it will change any over time - unless another stone were to hit the same spot again. To fix without reoccurance, the area would have to be taken back to bare fiberglass and then primed, sealed and painted.
