Heres a competition

Ok......So I will donate a couple of Flexfit licensed caps ..Logo of your choice , and some shirts.....Tees and maybe Polo shirts.too.
I think that we could have a vote by members here on the nicest car ....regardless of originality, and maybe some of you can come up with a category or two, ........and we can submit 3 pics ..front 3/4,...rear 3/4....interior, and engine.......Maybe Brent or someone can help......again I will donate the clothes ......by the way I do Slither Clothing for the Shelby's...... :)L

REAL 1 07-09-2014 08:15 PM

Just A popular vote thing for parameters?

CHANMADD 07-09-2014 10:35 PM

Yea ...not a concourse Judgement......just a popular vote......It just might be, The Real 1 .....;)

NewYorkGuy 07-10-2014 08:37 AM

fun! probably need 3 categories to make it non-biased judging:

1960s Cobras
AC, CSX, Kirkham,
The other guys

Danr55 07-10-2014 10:13 AM

Is this just a photo contest? Who's is the ???prettiest? most original? most gadgets? Most chrome? Least chrome? I guess I don't see the competition yet, or I msread something..

RodKnock 07-10-2014 10:23 AM

It sounds to me like a "popular vote" competition, so other than being a Cobra or a "hot rod shaped like a Cobra", there isn't any other criteria. Sounds simple to me. But I'm a simple person.

CHANMADD 07-10-2014 10:41 AM

Yes .......So if an unknowing ....someone.......walked into a field of "Cobras". which one would they pick as the nicest..............

CHANMADD 07-10-2014 11:05 AM

I have more than one cap .......

rodneym 07-10-2014 11:14 AM

Ahhh, competitions - real or otherwise.
I remember the first Shelby show (CS bday at Petersen) I attended with the new motor...
Lot's of nice cars, but few in 'my' category (CSX4/6, KMP, fakeydo, hot rods shaped like a Cobras, etc).
I stupidly believed that I would/could clinch the popular vote since I had crowds around my car like no other (and the pics to prove it).
But there was this one guy...he had a nice 6000 Cobra, nice but not superb, in case anyone thought it was a nut and bolt replica - not even close.
Anyways, this guy worked the attendees one by one..."Carroll put a $100 bill on the dash, and if you could grab it...", "Carroll told Enzo Ferrari to eat $#!t", "Carroll's chili would leave blood stains on the seats", etc, etc.
Well, the trophys were handed out and the popular vote winner was the guy with the 'stories'.
Oh, and he was the most recent customer of the 'dealership' that hosted the show.
Live and learn. At least it wan't a small block
And if anyone wants to say, "sour grapes", get in line behind my wife!
Next time I'm making her show some cleavage :MECOOL:

Well, I'm a firm believer in the "Everyone's a Winner" philosophy and that everyone should receive a trophy who participated.

Otherwise, someone's feelings are always hurt.:p

rodneym 07-10-2014 11:38 AM

That's cold blooded, patrickt :3DSMILE:

Sorry for the left turn.
My wife and I already are fans of CHANMADD's clothing. :D

Danr55 07-11-2014 07:24 PM

Nice idea! I would think even a picture of the month by popular vote would be cool. Don't even need prizes. It would just be pride of having a cool photo selected by you're peers.
