Well, you could always move one of the other 4 cars.
Perhaps her daily driver. Lol.

These are good problems to have. :)
Fwiw. I like mrmustang's approach.

I kind of like the lift idea too, my luck it would topple over destroying both cars. lol

That has actually happened to at least one multiple Corvette owner. It's well worth the piece of mind to get a lift from someone who has been in the business a while and his a good reputation.

We have both.. except the 66 is a convertible and not a fastback.

we seem to drive the mustang more than the cobra. Mainly because of the 2 extra seats.

Now that said... If I'm just going out for a drive, to drive, the cobra is the goto car. I've been toying with selling the cobra and getting another 4 seat convertible but everything I've looked at lacks in the "smiles per mile" factor.

and I echo the 4 post lift. we put 3 cars and a couple motorcycles (and a tractor and snowblower) in a 2 car garage.

I'll also add that your mustang "should" appreciate as long as you own it. The cobra stays pretty stagnant in value (slight depreciation...then levels off)

Keep the Mustang.

Well what is the $34,000 Cobra? That's not a lot of money in our hobby. You don't want to buy something that's going to need more money invested right away. That wouldn't be a way to a smiling wife!

Storage sounds like the best option, I would not sell the Mustang.

crash22 07-21-2014 07:53 PM

Decided on Keeping the Mustang had it for 4 years put a lot into it, but my storage problem may be solved we are checking out a new house on Wednsday with a double car garage and enough lane parking for 8 more cars. And there is a guy not to far from me that has a Shelby for sale for $24,000 with a 5L engine I might go take a look at that one, he says he wants to get rid of it to make room for new toys.

Buy a stacker lift......

OP,
Get a 4post lift and stack the cobra above the mustang. (lift is cheap, and if you have at least 9ft you can do it in any garage) Mustang will go up in value over time me thinks, Scott
