Never get sick of reading about these giants. My job had me inside substations with giant 3 story tall diesel engines. These units would come online when submarine cables faulted. One turbo charged six cylinder unit started with compressed air when it started firing standing beside it you could look in the direction each cylinder fired by looking toward the sound at the same time feel it in the concrete floor.
I have an exhaust valve out of one the engines they took out of service, love telling the story the valve came out of our Stroked Harley over revving it one day.

I'm not sure even the new FE heads with the best CNC port job will be able to support 90,000 hp. Just a guess though.

If you do get it in, how many folks are going to help you set the valves?
|
Also consider, that's 90,000 HP at 100 RPM. Think what the torque must be down there.
