Is this a Hi-Tech?
I saw this nice Cobra in town this past weekend. Looks very authentic - check out that expensive steering wheel! The VIN tag starts out HTMxxxxx
What kind of Cobra is this? I also like the spinners as they are different than what's on my ERA. The pusher fans were also mounted in a different way in the grill. Aluminum wheel wells, too. http://customshowboards.com/misc/htm...026289-002.jpg http://customshowboards.com/misc/htm...026291-004.jpg http://customshowboards.com/misc/htm...026293-006.jpg http://customshowboards.com/misc/htm...026298-011.jpg http://customshowboards.com/misc/htm...026300-013.jpg http://customshowboards.com/misc/htm...026302-015.jpg http://customshowboards.com/misc/htm...026305-018.jpg |
Yup, nice one at that

Looks like a HiTech, Fiber body, hood looks like alloy.
Very nice car, I have owned a few HiTech's now and in my opinion they are one of the best cobra replicas out there if you can find one. A true copy of the sixties car! |
The hood was painted on the underside to resemble aluminum....
|
Beautiful car.

When I inspected my car prior to it being shipped from Hi-Tech, I remember being told "...we painted the underside of the hood to resemble aluminum...". The VIN sequencing of the car you pictured is identical to mine, but 39 units after my car. David |

How about responding to the 5 guys who gave you good technical advice in your brake bleed thread 3 days ago instead? Seems like you got answers you didn't want to hear. Makes guys not want to take time to provide help and experience. |
Yes it is and I have met the owner many times he is an incredibly nice guy, and I can say that is a extremely nice car. Who else had there Cobras at C&C last weekend, I was out of town.

Very well done and a beautiful rep.

I saw 4 Cobras at C&C including mine. There were 2 other Factory 5 cars there including the newly finished green one parked next to the HiTech, which was very nice.
