block serial number
Does anyone know where to find the engine serial number on my Ford 302 Cobra engine?
The next question then will be what components, sensors, etc should it have? |

Ford did not stamp VIN's in to blocks on a regular basis until mid year 1968. Certain HiPo blocks had VIN's stamped in to them for warranty liability coverage issues. Bill S. |
Look on the block behind where the starter mounts.

Block Number
Starting in 1968 it was required to stamp the cars VIN on the block. Look in back of the intake manifold ,on the top edge of the block.
