Anyone ever paint a distributor cap?
I've got a Mallory 32 series distributor here that needs a black cap. Anyone know of an aftermarket black cap, or has anyone ever painted one?

I used Krylon Plastic Fusion paint on mine. Worked fine.

Fortunately, MSD caps are available in black, I use them on every engine I build.
Unfortunately, Mallory does not. I'll read Patricks thread. |
Anyone have a link to the MSD black caps? Couldn't find.

Jegs and summit carry black MSD caps for both billet and pro billet distributors.

I am sorry to have guided you to a patrickt thread, but in this case, while I am sure he overdid it, I know he included a material list, etc... Hope it was reasonably painless. |
