chassis with vette rear...please help ID
Today I acquired a Cobra replica chassis of an unknown origin...maybe some one can help me find out what brand it is so I can move forward with my next build.
1. 90" wheel base 2. Corvette rear pumpkin with coil overs mounted on fabricated spindles (with tube uppers and lowers). 3. Mostly made out of what appears to be 1.50 square tubing.....a back bone made out of it also (so that rules out Hunters and Cobrette cars). 4. Steel plate for floor pans on both sides, this combined with back bone rules out what I call "bath tub type cars" (I guess?). 5. Strut type front... 5" bolt spacing on uppers, doesn't have lower a arms but it's mounting tabs are....inner 10 3/8, outer 12 1/2...that's around a 11 1/2 center on lowers (I don't know what aftermarket mustang II tube lower spacing's are that eliminate the strut bar..?) 6. Clutch slave has an odd 3 bolt mounting point set up. The plastic reservoir on it has casting numbers on it 47221-35010.....that Google's up a Toyota forklift set up. 7. Single bumper mounting points like a Elegant motors but not a vette frame.....there 427 Competition package was 90" but not sure if it was a shortened Vette frame. The front suspension used is really my only concern...if any one can help there then I'm good. |
