It was a thread containing this 'for sale' ad:

I suspect that since sale ads are not permitted in 'All Cobra Talk', it was taken down by Ron or Jamo. But several of us had taken the time to post meaningful discussion about 'flipping cars'-which was discovered this was. There is value in the topic for all members-new and veteran.
I think a more productive move would have been to lock the thread with an explanation of the transgression. Then the OP would not make the same mistake again. |

And I was actually half serious with my bid and what I'd do to the car before reselling. Whatever. Hope the OP sells his car for what he wants.

The car was sold and it was requested that the thread be purged to eliminate further inquiries.
No mistakes were made... simply housekeeping.
