disaster avoided

Went to start my cobra this morning and it was hard to start, car started up but was running a little rough. I lifted the hood to see gas on the intake, and dripping off the front bowl of the holley, apparently some bowl bolts and inlet fittings had worked loose. Man was i glad i decided to look under the hood! My car almost did'nt make it to see 100 miles,77 to be exact. I built the car so it was my mistake and i will keep an eye on things in the future!

Glad to hear everything was ok. Yikes!

Glad you caught it in time. That's pretty much in the same category as my alternator orange wire working loose and turning into a mini-arc welder at about 125 miles. Have to keep a close eye on things for the first few months until all the bugs are worked out.
