Hanes HotRods and Cobra - sidepipes

Can anyone provide any feedback, experience (good or bad) with regards to the sidepipes available from this vendor.

Thanks.

Until you get into the shopping cart, I can't even tell what country they are located in or even what currency the prices are. It appears they are located in the USA.

I would steer clear though. To the best of my searching ability, I was unable to find ANY contact or physical location info on this vendor. I never give my business to a vendor I am unable to physically locate and make contact with. I also want a phone number too.

They may be a great vendor and they may have excellent products, but the ambiguous company info, crappy pictures and lack of specs make me wary Leroy.

I purchased a few bits off this company very early on in my build. This was quite a few years ago, but none of the parts ended up on my car as they were very average quality. This was just my experience, and it is possible they are better now.

Hmmm...I wonder where he keeps all the Cobras and parts? I see a For Sale sign (maybe) in front of the house. Did he move?

Hello, I have been selling parts for many years now. I actually started when I was in College selling Mustangs parts.

In 2002 I started selling Cobra Parts. I have had the same email addresses for years. Yes we have moved a few times in the past decade but still selling parts and shipping all over the world including the complete windshields to Australia and New Zealand, Taiwan, etc.

Only one time have we had a windshield arrive broken. Fedex put a forklift through the box. They paid the claim and we promptly shipped the customer a new one.

I have been on Club Cobra for years and finally joined in 2011. A link to my ebay store was sent did you look at the feedback I have received?

People do not leave feedback that often so we have sold thousands and thousands more items than what the feedback shows.

As for the website I do not know how to make one and that was an easy one to start. My son is now helping me redo it again. We will be uploading new and better photos as well.

I still have people contact me at my old phone number from 2005 which I still have and it is forwarded to my cell.

I am a car guy and I especially love Mustangs and Cobras. I have thousands of photos of both and many from very happy customers.

I bought his over riders a few years back. I didn't install them, but it wasn't due to quality issues. They looked great, but I just decided I liked the naked girl look more.

Use the ebay store and paypal if you're nervous. They very much favor and protect the purchaser.

BUT, I will say buying any pre fab side pipe is a crap shoot at best if they're not custom made for YOUR car with regard to fitment. There is no standard for the flange, length, angle, offset, or length, or engine placement or header shape.
