Fred,

Truth be told, this cobra car hobby thing is based off deception. It's like the exorcist girl who turns her head 360- u gonna find a few insecure cobra replica owners getting whiplash to protect their hobby/investment.

simply block out the noise and speak to the many cc members who offer sincere advice. whatever path you take, enjoy the process. it's a hobby. it should be fun

good luck

Did someone get left out of the NY Nissan Leaf Owners New Years Day ride?

To the OP. What reading have you done in the last 3 weeks on the subject? What dealers have you talked to? What have you learned about the various manufacturers and offerings in the market?

Have you ordered a SAAC Registry? Have you read any part of it?

You certainly haven't come back with any follow up questions. Either you want to be spoon fed on a universe of information or have figured it all out yourself by now and no longer need us or ...as you said have gone back to Vettes already which would evidence just a passing interest in Cobras explaining your lack of engagement here.

I gave you information you can start with. Apparently you had no follow up interest.

Cheers.

Well as a lawyer, I'm sure you could easily argue the virtues of how a corvette "remotely resembles" a cobra. They both have four wheels, and come in red, yes?

Else, seemingly you were right again!:o

I wonder why people exclaim "it's arrogance..." when you're prophesy seemingly turns out to be fact?

I hope he buys a cobra now just to spite you. :p

Don't come down too hard on NYG. He's Club Cobra's version of the Zach Galifianakis' character "Alan Garner" in the Hangover movies. And NYG probably likes the Jonas brothers as well.

I have been waiting to see where this all went.

Yes I have been lurking on here for a while - trying to learn. The one thing I did learn is that some of you guys are so arrogant. I don't get it - you guys get really get excited by taking shots at other people. Sorry if i didn't meet you expectations on the quality of my question.

Well - you don't have to worry about ol Fred - he wont waste your time with "simple" questions. Its clear based on your feeling - I'm not worthy of a "cobra" and at your suggestion maybe I will go for another Vette.

Here is another suggestion, keep asking the questions you need to make that all important decision about the car you would like to own. Don't make the mistake of telling the membership what Co's name is on the title that alone will stir the pot for that matter so will engine choice BB vs. SB etc. etc.

This forum has a lot of enthusiasts more than willing to help you make your choice a lot more informed. Nothing wrong with owning a Corvette with all its luxury compared to a bare bones Cobra. You really should at least get a ride in one. Either way make your quest for an American sports car a fun experience.

That's Patrict 😄 he was tough on me too. He thought I was gonna buy a POS Corvette. Truth is, I already had one. Traded it plus cash for a Cobra!

This forum is analogous to the cars they represent.
Brutally uncivilized, raucous and unrefined, and yet clearly focused upon peerless performance and simplistic beauty in function and form.
Corvette's are OK and I've had a bunch (still have a '64). But a Corvette is no Cobra and as history has proven was no match for the little car this place is all about.

Some folks are just better off owning other cars.............................

Best, Bret.
