I just talked with my buddy Dave Hackney Cruzin Slide Shows & we are ready to make the 2-1/2 hour trip to Fort Lauderdale to visit Alloycars. It will be done soon possibly this next week but we both have commitments so hang in there for the pictures and the truth. We both will be bringing our cameras.

Can we do some simple math here?

A. New FFR rolling chassis w/o body and with FFR markup = $__
B. Full drivetrain, assuming TKO or similar and to be conservative a 427 mid-range SBF = $__
C. Hand-built custom alloy body, assuming 1,500 hours minimum at say, $50/hr (not sure what FL craftsman may cost) = $__
D. Fit-up, paint and detailing = $__

Assuming also that A-D need to have some markup to be profitable,
what would A+B+C+D would equal?

Two threads went into the gutter, and both times sparked by your responses to folks who have been around the block more than a few times...the very folks you would want to have your ideas tested by.

...and then you engaged name calling, a defensive/argumentative attitude, engaged in the annoying habit of shouting (boldface...corrected and then engaged in again), posted in this "project" thread (which is in a completely wrong forum and which I'm not going to lift a finger to move), and a few other things that simply don't provide any mitigation in your favor.

Oh, and then you start throwing threats around about having your attorney write letters? Nothing worse than a damn attorney with some stationary and a pen. Have him write me one too, please.
