I'm with Dan. I'm confused too.

And I'll echo what someone else has already said, if this company has already produced 150 Cobras, then where are they? The only thing I can surmise is that if there are 150 of these Cobras running around with the chassis of an FFR, then do these owners post over in the FFR forum? They certainly don't post here.

Bernica 12-22-2014 10:49 AM

Or how about the Cobra Bash or any the big SAAC events? How many of everything is there? Out of 150, surely you would think that somebody would have had one.

DanEC 12-22-2014 11:15 AM

They said the 150 were primarily for the European and South American market so that might explain why they might not be familiar to most of us - although I would have thought one or two of our overseas members might have chimed in by now.

I would still like to see actual photos of one before everyone goes too ballistic. %/

After a careful analysis of Alloycar's apparent business model I believe they may be onto something! I have decided to replace my dating profile picture with that of Tom Cruise! After all, we are both men and virtually identical except for the genetics; diet and 30 years. This should increase my dating prospects from abysmal to.....well, better. I will tell women who respond that I have dated hundreds of models, offering no substantive proof, offering that they are established "super models" in Europe and South Africa. If they question my photo I will lash out angrily at them. Gotta go, this could be exactly what I have needed! No more porn sites for this kid!

Well, they're posting pics of Cobras made by other manufacturers, at least one of which is a Kirkham.

Personally, I'd be going ballistic, if I were a customer using these pics to buy their Cobras and I'd also be going ballistic, if I were KMP/KMS and the other Cobra companies that are being misrepresented on their site as their own product without disclosure.

But it doesn't you see...
I don't mean to be rude, but how do I know those pictures are of your cars...

Just saying you have precedence not helping you here...

Best of luck with your venture.

Certainly sounds sincere, but you haven't started here on very good footing...

I wish you best of luck and would enjoy you posting some completed photos of your Cobras with maybe some customer testimonials about their experience.

I still must ask why folks like Kirkham or PanelCraft don't seem to know you.

Bill D 12-22-2014 12:27 PM

Will you make a 289 FIA body?

Alloycars 12-22-2014 12:30 PM

I can help out with that. We had some TV shows and we have some video feeds. The only thing is that I dont know how to add it here. I have to check it out. Maybe I add them to our website. But then again....people can think that this is the actual car we are fabricating, so I will kick me in my own butt....better you guys wait.

But I am not using this forum to defend our self so I see no need for it as the time will tell the truth as always and you will remember.

But thank you to be at the compressive side and I wish you a merry Christmas.

Alloycars 12-22-2014 12:31 PM

No, at this moment we are getting warmed up for our MK5 model only, but who knows in the future.

As you have seen at our website we are getting warmed with our MK5 so there is a ready car which is sanded and it will not be painted. In fact it is going on the road tomorrow. You can see it at over the webcams only but soon we will have some nice pictures.
The blue car on the website represents what will be the final look with a blue dress. One of my employees gave it to me mentioning that this is FFR car and they are our suppliers for the main chassis.
We have decided for not painting, brushing or polishing the first cars we are doing for us, just a basic sanding to show the aluminum body. Polishing the body is nice too but we are not offering polished cars as it is too labor extensive/expensive here in the USA.

Best

Tried to go to live camera as per their post and go a warning from i phone not to go on site, may be "Phishing" website. I have had bad experience half the time dealing with Florida businesses. Florida has more than the average amount of questionable businesses. If website shows Florida address I will keep looking for alternate. IMO

"Real" Aly FFR's...................:)

So, FFR is your supplier for the frame. FF5 does not TIG weld their frames they are MIG welded - besides that, in your pictures it does not show an FF5 frame.

Your website: "Chassis and parts:
- Complete TIG-welded chassis."

You called on Bill B***SH!t - I call on you now BS. You guys need to get your website and attitude together - otherwise you lose 10 potential customer per hour.

In the last 2 hour I read more misleading advertisement and conflicting stories then in the last year (and that year was long).

Interesting is this youtube clip....just by listening to this gentleman, it becomes very clear the little role of yours in the development of that car....

Florida is a short hop to Cuba now and the Carpet Baggers will be flocking there soon! Spend the money you offered MrMustang and book that flight!

Berni,
If you make your way to the South Bay, bring your hood ornament.
