I hadn't even noticed, but they are also advertising here on this site. Well, a little more can't hurt I guess...

That was great and my favorite thing to donate to. He was kind of late worrying about repeating the phone number though after they did it at the beginning and even showed the ticket up close.

Does anyone know if he took the car, or the cash.

WARNING: Wounded Warrior Support Group is *not* the same as The Wounded Warrior Project.

WWSG was successfully sued by WWP for using their name and there is a LOT more to this than I'm willing to write.

For more specific information I suggest you all research the issue before donating to WWSG.

well, while the cat is out the bag, if the truth be told both organizations have evolved into being more about making money than supporting troops.

"Saying" that you are going to help has become BIG business, and very profitable. But, this is nothing new, agencies have done this for years...saying one thing, but actually doing another.

And yes i brought tickets anyway, and yes im a Soldier.

When I send in my donations I try to send them directly to a hospital or someone that I know will get them to the places they are supposed to go and not into a group of thieves pockets.

Ron
