Electric Gauge Choices

I purchased my Cobra a couple of months ago and now am in the process of rebuilding the car. I am going to be replacing all of the gauges in the car. I want to go with something original looking, but after doing more research I do not think I want to deal with the mechanical Smith's gauges.

From what I can tell there are several options out there for original looking gauges that are electronic (SpeedHut, Nisonger, ect.) and I was hoping for some opinions on which ones are the best and what y'all would recommend.

Thanks for the help guys!

I just bought speedhut. You can customize them any way you want.

I've got the Tom Kirkham/Speedhut gauges and they work great. Almost 20k miles on them.

Cheers

I think I would go with Speedhut now. I used a different brand in my cobra that they put the faces on to look more original but they are out of business now so far as I know.

The customer service at Speedhut is 1st class! You can spent a long time on their website and play with the different combos...
Who else gives you a preview how your gauges look at night?

I like Autometer. They've been around forever, and are dead on reliable. I'v been using AM since the 70's, and they are always plug and play. I'v never had a failure. They do make a set that looks like the originals, specifically for the Cobra crowd.

A couple of years ago I was planning on updating my dash. I started by swapping the tach and speedo. They have been slightly problematic. I'll probably go back to Autometer.
