Please help identify chassis

Thank You

Your assessment seems correct. So sad to see so much work put into a project without some thought about quality. I hope you got it cheap.

Added: Wait, this could be a new trend, "Cobra Rat Rod."

Yipes...... ;)

Thanks. I was hoping someone might have an idea of the original kit manufacturer.

HomeMade Brand.

It may take more effort than it's worth to turn this into a usable chassis. Perhaps best used as a donor car for a real build.

I concur, not a past, current, or partial "kit built" frame and/or rolling chassis. Strictly a "Home Built", or backyard engineered item.

A Homemade can be good. Just check it to see if is straight and square. Check the welds maybe add some gussets , use all top grade8 hardware. Have a friend who knows about cars and their design give a look . If all good just get a nice Chevy engine, get a body, flop it on and get out there and enjoy the ride.

I thought the originally, but when you look at the front and rear suspension points, that is where the resemblance ends (and I saw the second FFR chassis/car ever built up close and in person many years ago).
