my video
cranked the Cobra and backed it out of my shop. Locked the doors and then took this video.
Drove it 180 miles round trip to a All Ford Car Show in Cullman Alabama. https://youtu.be/_qv-9DawYs0 |

Bevan, that is one awesome Cobra! Thanks for posting the vids!

I hope to contribute this summer, once I am 100% running. For now, I have some videos on youtube under "allcarfan." I have no idea how to link them to here.

How do you embed video in a post?
|
I just copy the URLs from the top of screen and post into here.
Thanks Buzz. |
Nothing fancy: First vid is one of the guys pulling it in for her 500 mile check up. 2nd vid is a dyno pull

Here'a a video for all you BF Goodrich tire haters...
This guy has no issues with his, even in the rain. The first half of this video is cheesy 1980's electro-music- The 2nd half is pure ear-cocaine: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52Qwf6FQ-Es&list=WL&index=27"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52Qwf6FQ-Es&list=WL&index=27[/ame] |
My 289 Unique, and its angry little solid roller micro-motor- Cold Start, warmup, and a few blips of the throttle at the end....

This is from 10+ years ago when I was into track day events. It was a friendly event and the Corvette driver I chased down waved me by because I caught him so fast.

This is from early this year at a Good Guys event, getting ready for Scottsdale in November.
Very slow, so speed is not impressive but handling is good for a slippery asphalt lot on 200 TW tires. The engine is coming out December 1, for a complete redo de-stroking it, smaller valve stems, new rods with a better ratio, sliding the head inboard for flow and a new ECU. We have too much torque now so going for less torque and more RPM (9200 red line). https://business.facebook.com/turnol...0969363690766/ |
That was one heck of a drive Scott. And the Cobra really handles well.

Here is the video from my last drive through the burn area that is just 1 mile from my house. They are still replacing power poles and lines and cleaning up the burned homes. The first part is over very rough road so that caused the camera to click against the windshield as the suspension on the coupe is pretty stiff. The roads around here are worse than some of the dirt ones.

Startup and idle into garage with my old Superformance #887 last year. This motor build utilized an early 289 drag cam in my 351w, giving it a different firing order, great power, and a rather unique sound!
