Spring has SPRUNG in MN

Wow - 68 degrees yesterday, 59 today, 64 tomorrow and no end in sight for 50s in the 10 day..... Snow is gone, so Cobra gets to play! Daughter, Molly, was picked up at her friend's house today with 6-7 of her friends tracking my sound from blocks away. I think she scored some "cool kid" points today.

:)

Nice picture and it is great that you are having some nice weather. I have a friend who lives in Minnesota and he has been telling me about the change in weather. He is putting away his ice fishing stuff and getting his boat and camping gear ready for the Summer.

That is a nice looking Cobra, but it is made even nicer by your daughter and her smile.

Ron ;)

Thanks Ron - She asked me on Tuesday to take out the Roadster. She was sad when I told her it wasn't ready yet. I was still having difficulty getting the passenger seat installed, but after working on it for another hour Wednesday afternoon I was all energized. I pulled off the hardtop and hung it up in the garage (by myself!). After a little shakedown run to make sure all was working correctly decided to surprise her when I picked her up for her piano lesson.

Looks sweet! Glad its warming up in Minnesota!

70 degrees today in Texas. The snow & ice has melted. If the weather holds until Saturday, I will fire up my tractor and lime the hay fields. My John Deere is a 1965 model, so its sorta like driving a '65 Cobra...

I'm sure the power to weight ratio is very similar.

Lessee, 95 hp & 6,000 lbs: 63 lbs./hp... Ummh, well, at least it's got bigger rear tires than a Cobra: 15.5 x 38.

Yeah, but are they Avons?

Well it has cooled off here. Down into the upper 60s and low 70s now from the 80 to 85 degree weather we had been having.

Ron ;)

Great picture your daughter will never forget that ride. Years ago when our son was a senior in high school let him drive our Cobra through his friends neighborhood they still talk about it. The reason is because he scared me a little when he nailed it going by one of his best friends house with some of his other friends there as well. Oh the memories!

Another glorious day!
