Identify this car?

I have seen this car in person, in and around Norman, OK. I've seen the car in pictures and documents of the MidAmerica Ford meet in Tulsa, but I've never seen it identified by number. It wears the Oklahoma tag "REAL 66". I believe it IS or WAS owned by a Mr. Hayes, of Norman, OK. But, I've never seen it identified by CSX number. Anyone know it is? This is just for my own personal obsessive tendencies...

Thanks,

-Kyle

It's a cobra red one

Yes, I'm aware of that. :) I'm pretty certain that it is an original CSX-3000 car. I just don't know which one.

yup... I did that in the late 70s. I hated the narrow hip cars.. Found a 427 wreck in NY an used that. Any more pics of the car now ??

Interesting that it's a modified narrow hip car. It is pretty, but I do find that it looks a bit jacked-up in the rear and the tires don't fit into the wheel openings as they do on most originals. Could be just the photo - It doesn't look that way in the older track photograph.

IT'S not a MODIFIED car. The whole rear clip is from CSX 32**.

Nice.. I added the hood scoop , roll bar, side exhaust and the rear clip and a original set of S/C rims. Good to see the car again. Will be adding a new CSX 4000 car here shortly. I can say it"s a tribute car to 3147 :3DSMILE:

Oh... It's a lot nicer than I ever had it !!
