Default Speechless

Like everyone else, I have a hard time with this.

It seems like I see people every day begging on street corners. Some of them are obviously not homeless, but not a single one drove to the street corner in a Cobra.

Begging for money to rebuild a Cobra is pathetic.

This is a new low for humanity.

I'm sort of left speechless after reading this. Apparently he only associates hard work with physical labor. Not sure if this is tongue in cheek or not.

After finishing my work shift as a state trooper, I would go out and mow 5-6 lawns a week, referee high school basketball games, help farmers during the busy season and moonlight for a private security firm. All of this so that I could afford the hobby of my choice. No one gave me anything. That's the way I prefer it. It makes me appreciate what I have. No bad comments about anyone who does it differently, but that's what worked for me.

Are you talking about the OP or those who responded to him?

Gun Doc
Fully agree.

I haven't heard of anybody asking for money to rebuild their car.

As others have said, your car is a luxury, not a necessity.
Sell off some other stuff, get a second job, get a higher paying job, hell why not put a red light out front?

To come onto a public forum begging is showing immaturity and no common sense towards your fellow car enthusiast.

EVERYBODY I know EARNS their own way.

The OP is bad enough, but era427tp is even worse in my view.
He seems to have made a living out of sueing people. He's just a blood sucking parasite looking to make a living at someone else's expense.

The original poster doesn't really set me off. I suspect he was not too serious about the request and did it somewhat as a lark. And if someone has some extra change, is of sound mind, and wants to contribute to his cause - what's the harm.

But yeah, era427tp is apparently a predator on society and proud of it if his rants are to be taken seriously. Pretty pitiful.

I don't know why this is so surprising. The democrats (lawyers) have turned our society/economy into this, where maybe 60% of our population is like this.
