Sourcing a new air filter
I've got a Keith Craft air filter housing and I would like to put a new filter in it. It is the short stack filter in the oval shape. Approximate filter size is 14 8/16ths long by 7 1/4 wide. I took measurements from the farthest outside area of the filter...didn't think to measure the height but it is pretty short. Does anyone have any recommendations or sourcing information.

Also K&N will make a custom filter and I am told the price is not crazy.
In theory the filter should last the life of the car.

K&N does or did make custom filters as I had one made for my Cobra. And the price wasn't much more than one that they had on the shelf that was just a little to short.
