Oil Pan Gasket Torque?
What would be the torque for the oil pan gasket bolts on my Roush 402R? Thx

Not sure whether Roush is any different, but the Windsor blocks use 9-11 ft-lb on the four corners (larger bolts nearest the timing cover and the rear main cap), and 7-9 ft-lb on all the others.

I suggest to tighten them down gradually, going around a handful of times.
I always watch the gasket and stop when it gets visually deformed a bit.
Are we talking about a cork gasket?

Zacttly how I do it and I use a 1/4 drive rachet, as soon as you see the cork gasket "squishing out a little" quit........I tighten the bolts a little at a time,usually 3 or 4 times,gggggggggggggooooooooooooooo ssssssssssllllllllllllllllloooooooooooowwwwwwwwww. ...

Crushing is good for grapes, not so good for gaskets. Everytihing David said above. Also, do a search on this site. Plenty of info here on pan gaskets and sealers.;)

Windsor blocks oil pan bolts torque:
Side bolts 110-144 in-lbs, Corner bolts 144-216 in-lbs.
