Pedals offset? Are all manufacturers the same?

My only experience driving these cars is a Backdraft built around 2005.
The pedals were very offset to the outside of the car, enough to cause some fatigue on the right foot on a long drive because of the angle it was bent at.

Does the offset to the side differ between manufactures? Is it transmission choice related or is the tunnel/firewall one size fits all?

Narrow car, big bellhousing.....pretty much all of'em.

I believe Superformance has two foot wells. Small block and big block. I am not sure how much extra room the small block version gets you but it must be some.

I never found the offset to be an issue. I never noticed it while driving even though looking at it I thought it would be.

Our FIA/Slabside footboxes are about 1" wider than our 427's. In order to maximize foot room, we push things as much as possible.

I might be wrong, but I think that the BDR engine is set back more than "normal". That would require narrower footboxes.
