Roundles Hood/Bonnet, Boot/Trunk
Hey all,
I'm thinking about putting some roundels on the cobra, and need a push in the right direction. Can anyone tell me: 1) The size and positioning of these things on the Hood/Bonnet area, and then on the Boot/Trunk. 2) How you template or mark off the Roundel for painting or in this case sanding/polishing? Pictures would also be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. |

On the Kirkham website they answer these questions in the polish and sanding section, they show you how to sand and polish them in the aluminum and they tell you the size and the placement...

LOL, new website for the Kirkhams, info is now gone, email them or call them...

Just talked with Mike Mccluskey, he told me he just restored csx 3005 and 3009, both he said were 20 inch target size, he did not say the positioning...

Another source is Squier Design. I used a combination Squier and Raceline to get the Essex Wire livery on my car. Of course Finish line as the vintage product decals as well.

Hot off the press, LOL, David K just told me the ones they polish or brush on door and trunk-hood, 17 inches...
