Day/Night Mirror
I enjoy an occasional night cruise, but the headlight glare in the rearview mirror is brutal. Didn't see anything on-line that would work so I bought one of those tinted acrylic sun visors that clip onto your car's visor and cut a piece out of it the size of my mirror. Glued some magnets on the back and it works great. The image is a bit orange peely, but not an issue at all. As for eliminating glare, it works better than the automatic day/night mirror in my daily driver.

Sounds like a good tip Kevin. Reminds me I've never tried to align my headlights yet. I think that's the last thing on my to-do build list.

Dan,
I drove to a nearby school and used the wall to align mine. They were way off and getting them aimed properly made a big difference. |
