Ant Newton , NZ .. RIP
 
Ant passed away at the scene of a road accident on Thursday last week 16 July 2015. Well known in Motorsport & Cobra circles in the Sth Island of NZ he was well into his third Cobra project.
His funeral was held in Ashburton, his home town earlier this week. RIP.

I spoke with Ant many times over the years and so sorry to hear this. My deepest sympathies to his Family and Friends.

Gee that is a shock. I had just emailed Ant and had a response from him half an hour before his crash. he was still working away on his Cobra, keen to make some progress.

I bought my car from Ant 20 something years ago, and we still kept in touch. Nice guy, sorry to see him go out like this.

RIP Ant.
